![]() ![]() ![]() Tithe: Ah, the introduction to our Babely Lord Rath Roiben Rye! We know him a little from her newer series, but his development in this book was so cool. if you haven’t read her earlier fae works, Tithe: A Modern Fairy Tale, Valiant, and Ironside, I urge you to check out these books! I never see them recommended or even mentioned on this sub, and I thought I’d point out any of the newer readers to Holly’s works to these books! They are books in the same universe, and they are just as well written as her newer series. ![]() I’ve had a soft spot for her always because of those works, and seeing this re-emergence for her as an author that is still able to connect to a young audience is exciting. Late-20’s F here and I want to preface this by saying: I am SO SO happy to see Holly Black constantly getting love in this sub for The Cruel Prince series! I read Holly Black’s earlier fae works as a youngin’ and really related to her edgy, kinda badass/kinda soft-hearted lead characters. ![]()
